- I do not hate virtual machines
- Really good for testing things out as a developer
- Great for zero-day hackers
- Gave us “elastic” computing services
- Virtual machines can be bloat
- Kubernetes on virtual machines is not optimal
- I predict virtual machines for kubernetes will diminish
- I’m really looking at netboot options like Sidero / Talos
