Been wanting to try out FreeCAD (or whatever the leading CAD software is on Linux). Here’s some tips about getting it as I discover them.
Install.
sudo apt install freecad
Set ProDark from Edit -> Preferences -> General and find the menu.
⚠️ Anything made with Sketchup and Blender 3dsMax is (obviously) going to be a mesh and therefore not something you edit in a CAD diagram. Bring them in only go get dimensions and create more precise CAD parts from them.
