Macos is “largest UNIX desktop distribution” in the world

Someone once told me that Macos was the “largest UNIX distro in the world” but looks like it is just the largest “desktop” distro (for which they pay 100,000 US per year).

Mac OS X is the most widely used UNIX desktop operating system.
