It’s kind of funny that Svelte comes in with this rather obvious idea — let’s optimize everything at run-time instead of forcing overhead on every single operation that uses the framework — and suddenly Svelte is the genius golden child of the Web development world. That’s the Web dev industry in a nutshell.
